Becoming a COVID-19 Vaccine Provider

Providers can order Pfizer through NMSIIS in amounts of 1170 doses or 450 doses. Pfizer can be stored until expiration in an ultra low freezer or for 31 days in the refrigerator.

For providers who want a smaller number of Pfizer doses, they can obtain vaccine through “redistribution” from a provider who has ultra low storage capacity.

It is critical that healthcare professionals and personnel are familiar with the specific guidance for vaccine storage, handling, preparation, and administration that are unique for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Special Note to Pediatric Providers:
COVID-19 vaccine can be co-administered with other childhood and adolescent vaccines.
